NOTE: It remains to be seen just how Congressional Republicans deal with either the ACA or Obamacare, 😊 (or both) but it seems that despite vociferous protests at town hall meetings across the country, Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rand Paul (R-KY) and Mile Lee (R-UT) are not screwing around trying to decipher the differences between the ACA and Obamacare 👧 but want either/both/any/each simply disappeared from the face of the earth. As an aside, I'm always astonished that Texans keep on voting Cruz into the Senate since he has about as much empathy for run of the mill Texans - or human beings, let's say - than a dead tree stump in a swamp. As for Rand Paul, his libertarian philosophies are anathema to me since they would give the already wealthy and the already powerful even more wealth and more power. Lee? What to say? Those folks in Utah apparently love their representatives crazy and brainless. And as one would expect, conservative "think tanks" like the Heritage Foundation, Freedom Works and Americans for Prosperity are also foaming at the mouth over repealing the ACA and Obamacare (or both 😕!). But in the swirling mess of claims, counterclaims and reimbursement claims its exceedingly difficult to figure out just what the hell to believe.
But along comes Catherine Rampall who does a decent job of parsing the calls for repealing the ACA and/or Obamacare 😂 and shedding some light on what all the sturm and drang is all about.
