FINALLY! DC'S DINING SCENE GETS SOME LONG DESERVED RECOGNITION!
FOOD MAGAZINE "BON APETIT" NAMES DC AS 2016 BEST RESTAURANT CITY!!
First there was the "rumor" that the Michelin Guide was surveying little old D.C. for a new City Guide (due out next year according to rumor) and that we might have a couple three new "Michelin Starred" restaurants in our midst. One, Rose's Luxury, is our five star place right here on Capitol Hill. As this Bon Apetit article states, we have been known for "fine dining" venues (Citronele, Nora) and "power lunches" places, (The Palm, Old Ebbitt Grill) political city of politicians that we are. But for nearly a decade now, we here in D.C. have noticed that there was a growing "sub culture" of less than "famous" dining places that were serving up really, really good ethnic, unusual, not-run-of-the-mill cuisine in the form of really, really, good food. So take that New York City!
