WHY "COMING TOGETHER" IS AN EXERCISE IN FUTILITY

Ex-Rep. Joe Walsh Deletes Tweet Threatening 'war' On Obama

Ex House Representative from Illinois, Joe Walsh, is now a conservative talk show host. He once derided Representative Tammy Duckworth - who lost both of her legs in Iraq - as not worthy of being called a war hero.   The title of his show is: "The New Voice of Freedom" and promotes radical right wing policies.
On March 25, 2013, Walsh aired his first radio show on Chicago's talk station WIND-AM 560, accordingly called The Joe Walsh Show, as a conservative political commentator.   After less than a year on the air in Chicago, The Joe Walsh Show began airing on WNYM-AM 970 in New York City.   In April 2015, WNYM-AM 970 dropped Walsh from its radio platform.
On June 19, 2014, Walsh was removed from his radio show for using racially charged language. He was on air again the next day. WIND general manager Jeff Reisman commented: "During the segment Joe intended to cite several common racial slurs as examples. He did not in any way use them in a defamatory or derogatory manner, simply as examples. However, AM 560 The Answer did not allow them to go on the air. AM 560 The Answer has a policy of not using certain words on the air that are highly inflammatory and offensive even in the context of a discussion of why those words are offensive."

Below is what Walsh tweeted yesterday after the killing of 5 police officers in Dallas, Texas:

By Tom LoBianco, CNN

Washington (CNN)Former Rep. Joe Walsh is under fire after deleting a tweet saying "This is now war" against President Barack Obama and Black Lives Matter protesters following the killing of Dallas police officers.
"3 Dallas Cops killed, 7 wounded. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you," tweeted Walsh, a former tea party congressman from Illinois and now a conservative talk radio host.
New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg spotted the deletion early Friday morning and urged people to retweet it.
"Joe Walsh decided to delete this tweet. So let's all retweet it," Rosenberg tweeted. By 8 a.m. ET Friday morning, it had been retweeted more than 20,000 times.

Five Dallas law enforcement officers were shot and killed by snipers at a protest over police violence in the deadliest attack on law enforcement since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The protest was part of a national wave spurred by back-to-back police shooting deaths of two African-American men.
NOTE: So when all of our news pundits and politicians are talking about "coming together" to support our police, Joe Walsh and his disgusting, depraved, like-minded racist bigots and hate mongers, are the reason why "coming together" simply will not work.    These slimeballs will continue their dangerous campaigns of hate until they are stopped or they die.
    Because: FREE SPEECH.
Many tweeters have called upon the Secret Services to arrest Joe Walsh for threatening the life of the President.  I could not agree more.   Joe Walsh is right:  it is war.  Just not the one he so fervently wishes for.
