How Trump’s Hands-Off Approach to Policing Is Frustrating Some Chiefs

SPOKANE, Wash. — Six years ago, a police officer in this city in eastern Washington was convicted of beating a disabled man to death and trying to cover it up. After other alarming episodes involving Spokane officers came to light, the city asked federal officials to suggest changes to the police department as part of an Obama-era policing program. Ever since, use of force by officers has declined, as have complaints from residents. “It is a great program,” said Craig Meidl, the Spokane police chief. “As a C.E.O. of a law enforcement organization, you’ll appreciate having an outsider come in and give you advice.” But in September, the Justice Department announced it would significantly scale back the program, known as the collaborative reform initiative, and reorient it toward more hands-off “technical assistance.” The decision to sof…

THE TRUMP EFFECT: REDISCOVERING MY CHRISTIAN ROOTS. WHO KNEW?

SO THEN I’M THE TRUE CHRISTIAN AND NOT ROY MOORE?

With all the pundit talk and public moralizing about Roy Moore and his Evangelical religious beliefs that he uses to justify his every action, all this fuss and blather begs the question:What Are Christian Values?’The confusion about this topic is not new but has been ramped up of late with the election of Trump and the Moore "controversy." Every Presidential hopeful, every candidate for the Senate and the House and I would guess most candidates for State Legislatures down to your County Dog Catcher contest exclaims his or her rock solid Christian values in order to put him or her on the right side of God, Jesus Christ and the voters. But Judge Moore has taken the whole values of Jesus Christ to a brand new level when he compared his actions with a 14 year old girl as akin to those of Mary and Joseph, - the Biblical variety not some couple living down the street from him in Gasdsen, Alabama.
While Evangelical, Pentecostal and B…

His Girlfriend Demands “Either The Dog Goes Or I Go” His Response Has The Internet Applauding

By: Elisha Ainsley Happiest 16 November 2017
The bond that we share with our pets is special; some people say that they love their animals more than their peers. So the idea of being forced apart from our furry friends is hard to comprehend. When this guy’s girlfriend gave him an ultimatum, he had a difficult decision to make.
After dating for four years, the inevitable next step for a couple living in Roanoke, Virgina, was to move in together. The only issue was that the girlfriend didn’t care for his beloved 4 year old beagle, Molly. Maybe she felt threatened by the other woman in his life… She told her boyfriend that the only way she would move in with him was if he got rid of the loyal pup. Left with a predicament on his hands, the boyfriend wondered how best to deal with the choice. Then he had the idea to solve the problem by posting an advertisement on Craigslist and his solution is abs…

WHAT WE FACE IN THE STORM FRONT THAT IS THE WORLD OF NEO NAZI'S

The Making of an American NaziHow did Andrew Anglin go from being an antiracist vegan to the alt-right’s most vicious troll and propagandist—and how might he be stopped?

"On December 16, 2016, Tanya Gersh answered her phone and heard gunshots. Startled, she hung up. Gersh, a real-estate agent who lives in Whitefish, Montana, assumed it was a prank call. But the phone rang again. More gunshots. Again, she hung up. Another call. This time, she heard a man’s voice: “This is how we can keep the Holocaust alive,” he said. “We can bury you without touching you.”
When Gersh put down the phone, her hands were shaking. She was one of only about 100 Jews in Whitefish and the surrounding Flathead Valley, and she knew there were white nationalists and “sovereign citizens” in the area. But Gersh had lived in Whitefish for more than 20 years, since just after college, and had always considered the scenic ski town an idyllic place. She didn’t even have a key to her house—she’d never felt the need…

Carter Page may have tossed a fifth amendment blanket over “all the documents” when it comes to the Trump–Russia investigation, but Special Counsel Robert Mueller is going to take a peek anyway.
In particular, Mueller's investigators are keen to obtain emails related to the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the earlier decision of Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the entire matter, according to a source who has not seen the specific request but was told about it. It’s clear that Stephen Miller, who was interviewed earlier this month by Mueller, was the author of theoriginal draftof a dismissal letter for Comey. Miller’s letter—which hasn’t been made public—has apparently come into the hands of the special counsel. The letter, drafted in May, was met with opposition from Donald F. McGahn II, the White House couns…
